amansipation

im am 16 years old im in states cusity how do i get my amansipation started were and when can i get my papers how long will this take.

It will take approximately 2 years. Emancipation as most people mean it does not exist in Kentucky. In Kentucky, it takes the agreement of whomever has custody of you plus you must show that you can take care of yourself. The Cabinet will not agree to emancipation until you are 18.
