Baby's last name

If i kept my last name when we got married and we got married when i was a month pregnant, do i have to have the baby have the fathers last name or can i have it have my last name?

The baby's last name is the name you have put on the birth certificate. There is no requirment that it be the father's. I would suggest avoiding last names that might be trademarked or copyright protected, such as Walter Mart (Wal-Mart) for short.
