My ex boyfriend is asking for child support and custody of our child. i moved out of state last year and recently came back. i married early last year and stay at home with my new baby. i have been harrased by my ex continuously. the child was an unwanted pregnancy and my ex would not allow me to abort or put the child up for adoption. i'm wanting to terminate my parental rights. how do i do this?

It is very rare (extremely rare!) that a judge will allow a parent to voluntarily terminate their parental rights unless there is an adoptive parent (such as a stepmom) there to step into that role. So, that is not a likely option for you. The only time I know of it happening, the parent was very dangerous to the child. You may want to seek out assistance in viewing your role as this child's parent in a different way so that it is not seen as such a burden.
