Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
My boyfriend and I had to go through court and work with a social worker to keep custody of our children we lost custody for a few months but I received custody back and our case was closed but they closed the case with him still having supervised visitation and I had custody. If I wanted to go back with him and live together with the kids, would he have to get custody back before I do so, or what?

That would likely depend on the specific facts of your case, in particular, the basis upon which your children were taken by the Cabinet in the first place. Because your boyfriend had to continue having supervised visitation, likely even if he lives with you again, he can never be alone with the children, someone will always have to be there with him, otherwise he would be in violation of the court's order.
To be safe, you should contact the attorney who represented you in the D/N/A action and ask him/her to advise you on that. I suppose you can also contact the social worker from the Cabinet, although I would only do so as a last resort.
