Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

my brother and sister are in foster care in another state and i would lik to get custody of them. Would I have to go where they are or could I fight it from the state i was in?

There are two avenues to accomplish this. The state where they are could request a home evaluation of your home for placement. This is called an Interstate Compact request. Social services initiates that process, but they often won't because of the time and effort involved.

You could go and file a motion to intervene and motion for placement or custody in the court action in the state where your siblings are placed.
