If my child is a drug user what is my legal rights as a grandparent.

Your rights are the same as if your child was not a drug user. You have the right to contact the authoirities if your grandchild is being abuse or neglected. You have the right (in at least 118 or our 120 counties) to file a neglect or abuse petition directly with the courts. You have the right to file a petition to establish visitation with your grandchildren. You have the right to report illegal activity to the police. You have the right to keep right on loving your child and grandchild no matter what and to be there if things fall apart.

However, there is no way to say how successful you will be with any of the above - especially without more facts.
