child custody

can i get full custody.child has moved 7 times/6 diffrent schoolsin 1.5yrs..grades are bad/truancy.llived in a motel for 1.5 mos.mother has been in jail 2 in 6 mos.not telling me

You present a strong case for a modification of custody. If it has been less than 2 years since custody was established, then you have to show a change in circumstances and that the child is seriously endangered. If more than 2 years, you just have to show best interest and that circumstances have changed.
