Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
Child Support when one parent is disabled
i am required to complete the child support worksheet for the state of kentucky. And i do not have a clue as to how to do this. I am filing on my own and do not have an attorney. I have made copies of the award note for my husband's that i am separated from 2005 award letter for Social Security showing that he is disabled and also a copy of our daughters' 2006 award letter for Social Security. But to fill out the form is beyond me. I need help.

You need to contact an attorney to help you with this. There are statutory guidelines for setting child support amounts that can be found in the Kentucky Revised Statutes (section 403).
While you certainly have a right to represent yourself, pro se litigants (people who represent themselves) are generally held to the same standards as practicing attorneys. What that means is that you are required to know the same rules and current laws that attorneys know.
Many times, an attempt to deal with this type of matter yourself will end up costing you more than it would have had you contacted an attorney to begin with. I strongly recommend that you contact counsel of your choice to discuss this and, perhaps if you need, that attorney would be willing to work out some type of payment arrangement that suits your budget.
It never hurts to ask, and in the long run, might be well worth the investment.
