Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
Child Support Termination
My husband pays child support to the mother of his daughter. We believe his daughter may have recently gotten married. I called the court house of the county that his daughter lives in and they have no record of a marriage license for her or her boyfriend. She is 17 and the boy is 16 and she just had a baby last week. My husband and his sister both have seen wedding rings on these two kids at separate times. We strongly believe that the mother of my husbands daughter would lie in order to keep the child support going. Please tell me how I can find out if my step-daughter is married, when we don't know where or when it could have happened. Thank you for your help.

Re: Child Support Termination
Have your divorce attorney file a motion to stop the support, and bring your witnesses. He can also subpoena the newlyweds to court to testify under oath.
