Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

If a child is 14 years old and wants to live with the non custodial parent what is the legal way that needs to be dealt with... would he have to have cousling would his mother have to know before its final... ect... any information will help...

If Mom isn't in agreement, you'd have to petition the court for a modification of custody. While the child's opinion is a factor at age 14, the Court still has to be convinced that the change is in the best interests of the child.
