Re: Contemt of Court
I will start off by saying that while anyone can represent themselves, where family law is concerned, you probably would do better with someone representing you who has experience in these matters. Failure to follow a court order subjects a person to contempt, punishment of which can take several avenues. In answer to the second part of the question about visitation, I will say that questions of visitation can be revisited. Again, consult someone locally who is experienced in the subject matter. I would first consult the attorney who represented you in the original divorce since he/she may be more aware or what is going on in your case.
