Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

I went to court for custody and child support 4 years ago still no ruling. Is there a time limit the judge has to abid to in Kentucky ? Thanks.

There is a procedure known as a Writ of Mandamus that can be filed to allow the Court of Appeals to force a judge to issue a ruling. However, there are things that should be attempted first that would be less likely to tick off the judge.
