Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My daughter lie in Kentucky with her abusive and cheating husband, they have 2 children. She want to leave him and mve back to florida where I live where she can have support. She as no vehicle, no job noting. If I decide to pick her up with her children what are the laws. Can she pick up and go, because if he knows she is leaving he will not let her go.

If he's been physically abusive to her, she needs to get out immediately, and get an emergency protective order when she does, which will likely give her temporary custody of the kids, and she can leave with them until custody is determined by the court. I would advise you to contact the local domestic violence programs near her and ask for assistance. She will need an attorney in Kentucky to assist her, and she should be able to get representation for free through Legal Aid or another pro bono agency, on the basis of the domestic violence. Don't waste time; act immediately and get them to safety.
