Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My Daughters boyfriend is currently incarcerated, and up for Parole next week. New charges have been filled since his arrest.

He is abusive and possesive, and now that my daughter has moved out of his mothers house and taken the 2 children he has threatened to kill her and the children, how can I get this information to the parole board on time?

What other steps should I be taking other than the obviouus restraining order?

She needs to file an EPO as soon as possible, and send a copy of it to the parole board and notify the Commonwealth's attorney. I doubt he will be released if he has additional pending charges, but don't take that chance. Sounds like a guy who needs the new ankle bracelets with the gps tracking, under Amanda's Law, if he is released. She should ask the court for that when she goes for her domestic violence hearing. Also, depending upon where she lives, there might be volunteer attorneys available to represent her. She should check with Legal Aid for local resources.
