Me and my husband were married in 1998 after six months we seperated and he moved out of state and I have not seen him since. i want to get a divroce so I can remarry, can this be done since I can't contact him? If so what package off of this web site should I purchase? also how long will I have to wait before it would be finalized?

You can obtain the divorce in the circumstances that you describe but there are very specific procedural steps that MUST be taken in order for the Court to obtain the necessary jurisdiction to grant the divorce and for it to be valid and not subject to collateral attack. This is not a do-it-yourself project. I am not aware of any package that would enable you to do this without getting in a bind. If you wish to try this yourself, you will need to obtain a copy of the Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure and follow the steps to obtain a warning order attorney, etc. If you have your husband's address, then you may attempt to have him served in his state of residence. I really advise you to obtain some professional help here. If jurisdiction is messed up, then your divorce may be considered invalid at some embarassing situation in the future.
