Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
I am a divorced parent and I am caring insurance on my daughter. Am I legally responsible for her doctor bills if I continue to carry this insurance after her graduation from high school?

The first thing you have to do is go back and look to see if there is anything in the divorce decree or separation agreement that specifies how this is to be handled. Absent that, then the default statutory provision for Kentucky cases is that the obligation to help with medical bills ends after turning 18 unless in high school. If in high school then it ends when graduating OR at the end of the school year if the child is 19 whether or not he or she graduated.
