domestic dispute

My husband and I have been fighting for a few days. I left the home yesterday to ''Cool off''. When I came home this morning, he had changed the locks. Can he do this?

People do this often in situations where marriages are in trouble. Rather than worrying about whether he can do it, since he did, I suggest you get in to a lawyer soon to protect your rights. I suspect that he has already talked to a lawyer and I would be concerned that he is changing more than the locks. There may still be a way to save the marriage, but this is an indicator of serious trouble and so a family therapist may be of help also.
