Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Can this help me at all?

My soon to be exhusband keeps harassing me everytime he calls about the kids. His father harassed me so much at work my boss had to threaten him with legal action. Everytime he calls letting me know if he is going to get the kids or not for his weekend he proceeds to cuss me out to no end. I don't want to talk to him about anything except for the kids. If I sent him a certified/notorized letter stating that for now on he's not to call me except to talk about the kids and when he does he's to talk to me about the kids and nothing else, and if he fails to do this I will take a restraining order out. I'm trying to avoid actual legal stuff right now if I can help it. Would it be legal for me to send a letter like that and if so would it help me in anyway. Thank you for your help..

Hello,

You need to talk to the lawyer who is doing your divorce. If he/she can't or won't help, go to the county attorney's office where you live and get an EPO.
