Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

False Information Legality

I want to know if falsifying your age on a marriage license can make it void. Eleven years ago I married a woman who used a fake ID (unkown to me at the time) and fake birth year on the license. We seperated two and a half weeks later and she vanished (not in the missing person sort of way) and I can't track her down. I'm now wanting to get re-married but I'm not sure if she's filed for divorce or if our marriage was even valid with her using false information.

Re: False Information Legality

Since she misrepresented the facts, you can get the marriage annulled. You should consult with a local attorney.

Re: False Information Legality

Your marriage is voidable. You would be able to get an anullment. If you are not able to locate this person you can proceed with an anullment by having her served by publication in the county of her last known residence.
