Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Frustration of Visitation (Part I)

There is continual frustration of visitation when trying to visit or telephone my children. The Court Order states that I have Joint Custody over my 3 children; I have visitation EOW, including holidays and school breaks. Depending on my Exs mood at the time determines if I do, or do not get to see my children. Mostly I dont. The order also gave me permission to install a separate phone line into my Exs home so I may call my children without having to communicate with her. She turns the ringer off or unplugs the phone from the wall so the kids wont hear the phone ring. If I call her home to see if the phone has been disconnected, she threatens me by saying she is going to call the police and charge me with harassment. She refuses to supply me with medical insurance information when the children are in my care. Son10 requires daily medication for his ADHD, but she refuses to supply me with it when he is on visitation with me. I cannot get a prescription of my own since it is a controlled substance.

Re: Frustration of Visitation (Part I)

You need to have amotion filed in the Court where the divorce was granted. Contact your attorney. Essentially, the motion is for your ex-wife to show cause why she should not be held in contempt for failure to abide by the order and then set out the specific instances of her disobedience.
