Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Is there Grandparent visitation rights in KY? A grandmother who badmouths the mother to the children is suing her daughter for Grandparent visitation. The oldest is 13 and does not wish to go. The mother is a single mom with a good job. No history of bad parenting. Works for the federal Govt and supports her children.

Yes, there is a law regarding grandparent visitation. It is KRS 405.021. However, there is United States Supreme Court case law which severely limits the Kentucky statute and arguably makes it unconstitutional. If she wants to fight this based on constitutional grounds, I suggest she hire an attorney.
