Grandparents rights and custody

I am currently 5 months pregnant, my childs father and I are together... My boyfriend was adopted by his grandmother when he was 5... but his grandmother is already saying that she can take custody of my child... Ive never did anything to her at all, Never did drugs, alcohol, no criminal record or anything at all. So first is there anyway that she could take custody. I honestly do not want my child around her at all so also does she have grandparents rights since she is a great grandparent or is it different because she is the legal guardian of my boyfriend?

Are you living with the father's adoptive mother (grandmother)? That is likely a huge mistake based on what you outlined. Of course, there are certainly other facts not included in what you wrote that might change that assessment, but it sounds like this person is not someone you trust.

I am assuming you are under the age of 18. From what you described, there is nothing that would automatically grant the grandmother custody.
