I have 3 stepchildren on my health insureance policy. Mother didn't pay hospital bill, Does this make me responsible for hospital bill?

First, since they are stepchildren,and yoiur complaint is that the mother didn't pay--- I assume you are currently married to their father; otherwise, I feel sure they wouldn't be on your insurance.

Based only on what you tell me here, I would say no, you have no responsibility to pay those bills; HOWEVER, if you signed anything as a responsible party, then you are liable and will have to pay them.
