Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Kentucky dissolution filed pro se. No kids, no property, have lived separately for the last 7 years. Had a final hearing date of March 25, but was just informed it was removed from docket since she did not sign a Separation Agreement. Her whereabouts are unknown (she's on drugs); we only got her "served" on January 14, 2011 because she was jailed for 30 days and I found out. Court now wrongly thinks she is in jail, but I have no idea where she is. Could a letter of explanation to the Judge get it back on docket and done with? Should we do a publication even though she's already been officially served by the Sheriff's office? Thanks.

You will likely have to move the court to appoint a Warning Order Attorney which will cost some money.
