Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

legal separation and child visitation

My boyfriend is separated but planning to get a divorce. His soon to be ex-wife is trying to get him to come back home and is threatening to keep his children from him. He does not bring them to my house nor put them in harms way. What can he do legally to protect his rights with his children until the he can file for divorce. He is going to ask for joint custody.

Re: legal separation and child visitation

Unless an agreement is reached, your boyfriend can do NOTHING unless he gets the case in court. It will be extremely difficult for him to lose his visitation rights, barring immoral behavior, etc. He needs to quit fooling around and consult an attorney or take what his wife dishes out.
