Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

I live in Ky and my husband got up one morning (a couple of wks ago) left to go to work. Later that nite when he didnt get in, I called a sheriff in another county to see if he would drive by my husband s friend house to see if he was there and if he was ok. The sheriff called back and told me he was there and he was ok. 3 days later after not hearing from my husband, I went to his place of employment to find out that he no longer worked there. I sent a msg to my husband thru facebook and he replied with "I have left you". I asked him to call me and was refused. I have been left with a multitude of bills and no way can afford a lawyer. What are my options for getting a lawyer and filing for divorce. What can I seek for the finances that he left me with? What can my husband have rights to? We have no children.

Contact Legal Aid of the Bluegrass first, and if they can't help, contact the Fayette County Pro Bono Program, and Modest Means Program (for reduced fee services). You'll need a consult with an attorney to go over your finances, what marital property and marital debts need to be divided, etc.
