Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
Living in two seperate states-child custody
My ex-husband and I have joint custody of our daughter with me as the primary residential custodian. When divorced I moved to Maryland where we were from. (he did not contest it) Our divorce papers say he has liberal visitation with both parties consent. He has stated that he can take her for the whole summer. Is this possible.

Since you have primary physical custody of your daughter, and the divorce decree is silent on specific visitation, your husband cannot take his daughter for a month, without your consent. However, now is the time to talk to a Maryland lawyer, like myself, if you think this might happen. Don't wait.
