Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
marital assests
What would happen if I sold a motorcycle that was bought during the marriage? We have already filed for divorce.

Re: marital assests
Assuming the motorcycle was a marital asset (paid for during marriage and not a personal gift or bought with gift money or an inheritance), then the value of the motorcycle continues to be taken into account in division of property.
I stress "value" becuase if you sold it for under market value, you could be on the hook for the difference.
