How long in state of Ky. do you have to be married to to have any right to any thing belong to your spouse, If one of you die ?

This is not as straightforward as you may think. If one spouse dies intestate (without a will) then those laws provide certain things to the surviving spouse regardless of how long you were married. If there is a will, then that decides except that a surviving spouse can renounce the will and take an intestate share instead.

From your question, I am guessing you have not been married very long. Also, I hope you are not asking right after having a spat.
