Re: modify custody

You can check your local telephone directory for a listing for "Legal Aid Society," or "Legal Services," and you may be able to obtain the services of a volunteer attorney who will represent you at no cost.

Another approach is for you to go to the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court or Family Court where your divorce or paternity action was originally filed. Very often, the Clerk's office will have forms for you to fill out to represent yourself "pro se," that is, representing your self before the Court, acting as your own lawyer.
