A motion moves the court to do something or for leave for you to do something ( i.e. resubmit your documents). It must contain a notice, setting it to be heard for the court's motion hour, a certificate of service stating the original is filed with the clerk and a copy sent to the other party.

You might want to get an attorney or contact the local Friend of the Court program. If you don't prepare your documents correctly, you are going to end up paying ALOT of money to hire an attorney to fix what you've done wrong, much more than if you'd just hired one in the first place. If you can't afford an attorney, talk to your local Legal Aid office or local bar association for pro bono or reduced fee services.
