Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Moving Out of State / Visitation

I had not been living with wife and daughter for 3 years due to being mobilized in the army. Filed for divorce in one county, then wife and daughter move to another state 6 hours away. I agreed to the temporary move. That was last April. She gets $700 TWIST payment from the state on our daughter that we adopted here in Ky. She is wanting Child Support on top of that. What are her chances of being awarded Child support? I am having to relocate. Wife is saying that she will only have to let me see daughter on extended breaks from school and not every other weekend. The daughter has no Blood relatives where she is currently. Is this true? All the daughters family is in county filed in. She also has grown up in this county. Daughter is 7

Re: Moving Out of State / Visitation

The Judge may scrutinize the reason for her move, so it would be worth filing a motion regarding that issue with the court though you made it tougher on yourself by agreeing to the temporary arrangement.

You will have to pay child support though I have no way of knowing how much with the information provided.

The visitation she is offering is less than what I would expect a judge to grant.
