Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Someone has been named an "overseer" for a family member. What is this? What are the responsibilities of an "overseer"? Is it similar to an estate executor? Thanks in advance for the help!

That isn't a legal term I'm familiar with... likely someone has been appointed guardian over the family member, giving them a certain scope of legal decisionmaking abilities. Only the documents will tell you the scope.
