Hi my names Destin i am 15 and live in Kentucky. I was abused a few years ago. By my mom and Placed in my dads care. But have deluxe that things are better at my moms and want to live with her. My dad tells me that I can't that family's like that don't get put back together so I want to know if its possible for me to live with my mom again and if so do we have to go though a court system.

So long as it has been more than two years since the last custody order, your mom can bring a motion before the court to change custody. However, considering that there was actually abuse involved, unless she has really taken some major steps to change her life, I would not expect the court to grant her motion. If this is something your mom really wants to pursue, she will have to get an attorney. While the court will take your wishes into consideration, ultimately what is in your best interests is what will determine the outcome.
