Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

If a parent (dad), who only has custody 2 days a week, is unable to pick up child from preschool due to work, can his mother (dad's) pick up child or would it have to be the legal guardian of the child, which would be the father. So if he is unavailable, then she could not?

Thanks!

Well, I gave my mother (and a few other friends, just in case) permission to pick up my children from school, providing their names and telephone numbers to the administration, so I don't see why you couldn't do the same. Even though you only have the child two days a week, likely you are still the joint custodian, and if so, your parental rights equal that of the child's mother. Ask your daycare what their policy is, you might have to sign something or have her sign something, whatever they want.
