parental rights

hi, my under age partner is going to have a child and i was wanting to know if she will have any custody rights and if her name will go on the birth certificate. i am of legal age. thanks!

If she is very underage, there may be greater concerns that parental rights. The mom will be on the birth certificate and she will have rights regarding the child. Her parents or some other adult might petition the court for custody or guardianship. If so, the mom should be appointed a Guardian ad Litem to look out for her interests.
