Parents - Grandparents Rights

How can a grandparent get full custody of a grandchild? What is considered parental neglect in a judges eyes.

Grandparents have no recogonized right to custody. You might file to get custody however, the Court will feel that since the state did not step in that there is little basis. This lawsuit may result in a custody transfer by either agreement or the state getting involved and taking the children from the parents but they are under a duty to set up a plan to effect reconcilation. Most folks report the parents to the Cabinet for Community Based Services.
