Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

I have been paying child support for 9 years. I am the NCP, and do not have any visitation rights because the judge revoked them for non-payment when the child was two. I do see my child though. I pay the money, another man raises my child and cashes my checks, my child is enrolled in school under the mothers last name, She moved to another state, and I had no idea...

Is this the way the law works? I pay and get nothing in return?

No, that is not the way the law is supposed to work. You could have appealed the original decision by the judge because child support and visitation are NOT supposed to be tied to one another. You do not pay to see your child; you do not get punished for non-payment by restricting visits. So, if that was the reason for the ruling, it was contrary to the law.

You need to file a motion to establish visitation in the Kentucky court.
