Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky
proper form needed
I am filing my own divorce.(No children or assets). The judge requests that I have a deposition on residency and a statement on separation date. What are these forms, and where can I locate them? I live in Warren County, KY.

Re: proper form needed
Your petition must lack statements that are required such as when you and your husband separated. There is no form as such. A deposition is written testimony of the parties under oath and taken pursuant to the Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure and apparently, the Judge wants you to present testimony as to your residency, either yours or another persons or both. You might see if the Warren Circuit Clerk will let you look at a recent divorce and see what it contains. You should also read KRS chapter 403 concerning divorces.
