Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Recently, my ex husband filed for primary custody of my seven year old daughter. He already had custody of our eleven month old son. I live in Ohio, and he lives in Kentucky. The court that he went through is where we were divorced. However, his father is very close with many members of the court, and I believe this is unfairly affecting me. I also was told by a lawyer that my husband's attorney is having a relationship with the judge. What can I do to have the venue changed?

You need to hire an attorney to pursue this matter. I would be inclined to file a motion to have the judge recuse himself/herself is in fact there is a relationship. This could get you a different judge. You probably would not be successful in changing the county or state the matter would be heard since your divorce occurred there and one of your children already lives with him.
