Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Is the reversal of an adoption possible? When I was 16 I had a baby and not long after my Mom pressured me into signing over my child to her and my Dad. She told me that his biological father and his parents were trying to take my son out of my life and if I gave her rights that she would always make sure my child was with me and in my life. Now she is totally ruining his character and brain washing him into believing she is his mommy. She won't let me see him or let him be apart of my life with my husband or new son. I need my child back, is there anything I can do?

That depends on whether you terminated your parental rights or not. If your mother just has permanent relative custody, and you still have parental rights, then you can move the court for a change of custody. I'm betting there was no TPR/adoption since there is a biological father in the picture. He would have needed to consent to the adoption as well. Likely all you signed was an agreed custody order.

You should contact a local family law attorney for a consult. Many attorneys will give one for free. Take whatever papers you have concerning the custody arrangement.
