If I have been separated from my wife for 13 years does that mean were legally divorced?

Nope, all it means is that you've been separated from your wife for 13 years. Kentucky does not recognize common law marriage (unless established in a state that does recognize it) and there is no such thing as common law divorce. If you were married in a legally recognized way, then you are married still.
