Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Seperation and aquiring new property

Seperation time: 1yr+ (2)- minors

My spouse is dragging around and not talking to me about our divorce. This has gone on for over a yr. I am afraid to push the divorce because I get my boys every other week and I dont want that to change. However, I am wanting to buy a home and I was wondering if I could have her sign an agreement not to pursue any of my possessions post-seperation? Or would it be possible to have a co-owner of the home to prevent this? Before the seperation the only thing we had was a car which I gave to her. One last thing, she seems to be avoiding me when I try to get this settled. Any legal reason she may be doing this?

Re: Seperation and aquiring new property

Why are you talking to your spouse and not your attorney? You are entitled to visitation. You apparently have no property to divide. I am assuming that you agree with the children living with your spouse. The Court will grant visitation-more than likely every other weekend and a possible summer vacation unless their safety is in question. If you do not have an attorney, at least consult one.
