Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My son got served a paturnity complaint last week. My question is does he need a lawyer or can we persue this without one? and what happens if he doesn't get a lawyer?

If he thinks he's not the father, he needs to ask for a DNA test. If he is, then he'll be expected to pay child support based on his wages. Whether you get an attorney to represent him is up to you, but he's not going to get out of paying child support if he's the father.
