Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Spouse receiving retirement Pay

My exwife & Myself have been divorced since Sept 1991. I retired out of the Army in 1993. We were divorced under the law of Kentucky prior to my retirement. We had been married for 14 years of my service time. However, there was no mention of any retirement going to my spouse upon my retirement. As a matter of fact, my exwife stated she did not want any of my retirement entitilement! Can my ex-wife now come back and get any of my retirement after we have been divorced since Sept 91?

If so how much and should I consult a lawyer!

Thank You

Re: Spouse receiving retirement Pay

You should consult an attorney as the wording in your settlement agreement will be a large factor in whether she is able to petition the court for any relief. Feel free to call or e-mail with other questions.
