In the state of Kentucky - when a couple is getting a divorce and neither will buy the other out of the house they own and it is being put up for sale, do they have to wait until the house is sold before the courts will grant a divorce/

No, you can set forth the terms of the property division in your marital settlement agreement, and if one party fails to uphold that agreement after the divorce, you just go back to court to enforce the agreement. If you aren't in agreement about the house at all, you can go before the court and the judge will decide for you.
