Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My step daughter who is 18 moved out when we were at work. She is living with her boyfriend and his parents. Are we still responsible for her medical bills since she is now 18 and out on her own.

You are not responsible for your step-daughter, however, her mother could be. This depends on if there are any existing orders from a divorce or support action that state what your spouse's obligations are toward the daughter. If there are such orders, to be on the safe side, i would have the court enter an order that your spouse is no longer responsible since the daughter is over 18 and emancipated.
