In a child custody case, joint custody, where the custodial parent is an alcoholic, abusing the children, they are living in filth, too many animals and animal waste in the home, 16 year old thought she was pregnant 2 weeks ago by college age kid, the custodial did nothing and lets her stay at boyfriends on school nights until 11:30PM, it gets worse but better left said in court, the Mother does not let the Father have the children but a few times a year, the Mother threatens the children if they call their Father and he comes to get them she will call the police and have him arrested for kidnapping, the Court Commissioner always rules for the Mother and this is in other cases as well. Forget about rehab, this is about the children, who have suffered long enough. How can we get a real Judge to hear this case and give the children a better life? Please help.

In Court, it is always a question of proving what you say. Without more, your word would not be sufficient. You can always say that the home is filthy but how do you prove that in Court. No Judge will rule without direct evidence of what you say. Pictures, neightbor testimony, etc are necessary. You can report the situtation to social services and perhaps they can investigage. Will the children testify?
