Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

ex has taught daughter to run to Dr every time she sneezes. There is a $35 copay that the Dr office refuses to charge even though I have contacted them several times. My ex will hold bills until there is a balance due of over $200 (the bills are all the copays) then tells me "here, pay it." I have told my ex I will pay her half of the copay when I see a paid receipt but she refuses and I cannot get the Dr to charge the copay! Daughter runs to Dr once or twice a week, whenever she doesnt feel like going to school. She is 19 and will decide she doesnt want to go to school and goes to Dr instead to get and excuse from them to take to school the next day. To avoid having bills turned in on my credit I end up paying the past due amounts which are all copays! what can I do?

She's 19? Why are you paying her bills at all? You should remove her from your policy at your next open enrollment if she isn't going to pay her own copays and abuse her coverage. I assume at 19, she's in college, she can likely pick up student health insurance for a very low premium. Cheaper than the copays for twice weekly doctor's visits, certainly. Unless you signed an awful divorce agreement to keep the daughter insured for all eternity, let her take some responsibility and get herself to class. (Also, since when are doctor visits an excused absence in college? They certainly weren't when I was there.)
