''ex'' threatening

I owned my home before I married my husband - He has approx 24,000 of child support arrearage. His ex wife is threatening to put a lein against my home - It is in my name only and I am the sole person on the mortage - I make all payemnts - Since it was a pre-marital asset, can she do that? We have been married for almost 8 years and are currently in the process of filing for divorce.

I recommend you consult with your divorce attorney regarding this matter. Even though you have title to the home and even though you owned it prior to the marriage, part of the value of the house will likely be considered marital property.
